WBSS teamed up with big four professional services firm Deloitte earlier on this year to begin a new era for student run recruitment and careers events. Having recognised that most careers related events were run on campus, we thought we would attempt to run an event at one of our major partner’s offices in Birmingham to offer students a more thorough and interesting insight into the world of Deloitte.

On arrival, we were met by a number of Deloitte representatives who showed us to their executive meeting areas where members enjoyed extensive presentations from staff across each of the service lines, an office tour and some refreshments and informal networking to conclude the afternoon.

The event was a major success and we are looking forward to running similar events with both Deloitte and our other partners in the near future. Thanks again to Deloitte for allowing us to run this event and to our members who got involved!
